kids ask for these skits every day

I teach 6th-8th grade ESL. These skits are perfect for my classes, because they are short (less than ten minutes), very funny, active, and not too difficult. They cover lots of basic topics and vocabulary, like clothing, weather, food, etc. My kids ask for them every day, but I save them as treats for the end of each week. That way, the book lasts the entire school year. It also makes teaching fun for me!

I think the book is great for English learners,especially beginners.My Chinese English learners learn best when role plays are done in class.These small skits are very easy for them to understand and enjoy!The only problem is that I bought the e-book version and I can not print out any of the skits to do in class!There should be an option for this type of book on it being printable or not!

Some ill-informed & incomplete advice

I'm only in the first chapter, and already I've come across some very questionable advice regarding nutrition. For example, she recommends large doses of vitamin E - older studies had cited vitamin E as helping to prevent miscarriage, but newer studies show that it can actually be very dangerous. She also doesn't differentiate between folic acid and folate, essentially saying that they are synonymous. While that's true to a certain extent, women with the mthfr gene mutation can't absorb folic acid at all, and it's vitally important that the consume folate. This is a very important distinction for those women (most of whom don't know they have the mutation and should be taking folate just in case), and folate is more bioavailable to everyone and is therefore a better choice for all women, so why would she skip this information? She also recommends decaffeinated green tea. Green tea has been proven to interfere with the absorption of folate, and should be avoided, especially in the first trimester. Overall, I feel very lucky to know a lot of this information going in. If I were relying solely on the nutritional advice in this book, I'd be making some very questionable decisions. Please do yourself a favor and verify all information in other, better informed sources, such as medical journal articles. Will revise review later if my opinion changes after reading more of the book, but only a few pages in, and I felt the need to warn other readers of this under-researched advice.

This is one of the best books I have ever read on pregnancy and childbirth! The Mindful Mom-to-Be is unique because it provides invaluable insight into the physical, spiritual, and emotional development that one goes through during pregnancy and beyond. Each chapter covers a different month of pregnancy and provides nutritional tips/recipes as well as stretches and exercises that can help relieve common pregnancy symptoms. The author even breaks down clinical facts/information in an accessible way that makes you feel excited about the changes and growth that occur during pregnancy. The Mindful Mom-to-Be is a must-read for all expectant mothers!

I read this book for breakfast.

Another solid release from Markus Almond. This book has a generous mix of one or two sentence calls to action and more invoking vignettes, much like his previous releases. What's special is that the intentional universality of the content is still easily relatable to whatever is on your mind when reading, which is great for those with a head full of thoughts and ideas. I also really appreciate Markus dedicating a chapter to money, a topic that can often get lost in the rush of inspiration.

I have a hard time explaining why I absolutely adore Sade, and an even harder time explaining why I love this book.
It's the sickest, most twisted piece of literature I've ever read. It was supposed to be written in four parts, but only one part was finished completely by Sade. The other three parts are written in abbreviated form, but this somehow doesn't make it any less disturbing.
The plot of the book involves four libertines who have taken refuge in a castle with a number of people who they've collected for the sole purpose of having weird, depraved sex. Four prostitutes narrate their own life experiences, and the libertines design sex acts based on their stories. these sex acts are recounted in extreme graphic detail, using language that somehow manages to be elegant.
This is a good English translation and, if you can manage to trudge through the farts, murder, and copious amounts of anal rape, you'll find yourself better for it at the end. If you're looking for a tamer version of Sade, try "The Crimes of Love." "120 Days of Sodom" is not erotica the way we know it today. It's more of an appeal to the sexual senses, even the senses that only exist to tell us what's rotten.

wouldn't be too bad if they could get past all the poop eating. Towards the end, I thought it was just way too off the hook to the point of ridiculousness. Honestly, I found the book somewhat disturbing
